UPDATE 7/4/23 3:45 pm: The fireworks display tonight has been rescheduled to Friday, July 7 at dusk due to weather.
The Fourth of July Parade starts at 11:00 a.m.
The annual Fourth of July Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Waverly Intermediate School on Tuesday, July 4th. Please arrive at 10:00 a.m. at WIS if you wish to be in the parade. Please fill out a Parade Entry Form and email it to cityadministrator@citywaverly.com or bring 2 copies to the parade. Additional copies will be available if you wish to sign up the day of the parade. The Parade Route is the same as previous years.
Introducing... The Waverly Aquatic Center!
We are excited to announce the GRAND OPENING of the Waverly Aquatic Center on July 4, 2023 with the ribbon cutting at 1:30 pm! There will be giveaways and honored guests and speakers. Bring your family and come join the fun and see the beautiful new Aquatic Center! Traditional money dive will be held at the NEW Aquatic Center following the grand opening with free swimming until 5 pm.
Lots of fun events and delicious food through the afternoon!
