Access Requirements
The Tree Dump is LOCKED and requires a key for access.
Use is limited to in-town Waverly residents ONLY.
The City of Waverly maintains a community brush pile for residents who live within city limits. This brush pile is located 3/4 mile north of Waverly Road on N 148th Street.
Key Checkout
Keys may be checked out from the City Office 14130 Lancashire Street during regular business hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- A $50 cash or check deposit is required, refundable upon key return.
- Keys may be kept up to 48 hours.
- Please lock the gate after each use.
- Lost keys are subject to a $50 replacement fee.

- Tree limbs
- Shrubs
- Branches
Prohibited Materials
The following items are not accepted. Improper disposal may result in fines or citations for littering:
- Brush or debris from commercial tree services
- Grass clippings
- Large tree trunks
- Garbage or bags
- Concrete
- Furniture
- Railroad ties
The brush pile is burned off by the City's Public Works staff as necessary and is monitored by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.
