There are many available resources available to our community members. Please utilize these great programs available to you!
Aging Partners
Aging Partners is part of the national network of area agencies providing support for adults aged 60 and over. They serve the area in Nebraska around Lincoln comprised of Butler, Fillmore, Lancaster, Polk, Saline, Saunders, Seward, and York counties. Aging Partners mission is to enhance daily living, expand personal choices and educate the community to ensure the independence and full life of the people we serve.
Aging Partners hold events at the VFW 13820 Guildford St on the first Friday of the month from 9:00am-11:00am.
Appointments required. Support areas include:

- Staying Involved
- Living at Home

General Assistance Programs
Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program
Community Development Block Grant is available through Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD). This program allows eligible homeowners to receive assistance to make structural, mechanical, electrical, weatherization, and plumbing improvements to their homes. This is a great program and we encourage anyone who may be close to the income requirements to apply. Please vistit our OOHR page for information or stop in the City Office 14130 Lancashire for an application, or email cityclerk@citywaverly.com to have an application mailed or emailed to you.
