Wayne Park is the main recreational area of Waverly. It has:
- Playground
- Smaller sand playground near the disc golf course
- Swimming pool - built in 1975; demolished in 2023
- Baseball/Softball diamonds
- Tennis courts
- Basketball court
- Disc golf course
- 3 Shelters with picnic tables:
- VFW Shelter near the entrance
- Shelter near each park
- Grills for cooking
