Cash Rent Farm Lease

INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Waverly is accepting sealed proposals until 12pm (noon), Friday, September 4, 2026, at the City Office at which time and place all bids will be opened for cash rent farm leases for four sites for the 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 crop years. The properties are described as:

GROUP 1: must be Alfalfa/Hay/Ground Cover type of crop
Site 1 - Waverly Wellfield at 13880 Alvo Road 
            Legal Description- S 28, T 11, R 8, 6^th PM, Lot 13 SW + Lot 10 SE
            Consists of 56 acres

GROUP 2: row crops acceptable
Site 2 - WWTP South field at N 148^th street and Waverly Road
            Legal description- S 9, T 11, R 8, 6^th PM Lot 21 SE, Lot 31 SE, Lot 28 SE
            Consists of 36 acres

Site 3 - WWTP North field at 12755 N 148^th Street
           Legal description- S 9, T 11, R 8, 6^th PM Lot 19 SE
           Consists of 1.9 acres

Site 4 - Waverly Brush Lot- on N 148^th street
            Legal Description S 9, T 11, R 8 6^th PM Lot 10 SE NE, Lot 12 NE
            Consists of 8.6 acres

Maps identifying the specific parcels are included.  Separate proposals may be submitted for Group 1, Group 2 or both Group 1 and Group 2 together.  Proposals shall list the cash rent per acre to be paid to include the cash rent for all four of the crop years.  Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed.  The envelopes containing the bids shall be marked as follows:
