Committee Openings - Volunteer Opportunities

Hello Waverly Community! We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our city’s committees and help shape Waverly’s future! If you’re passionate about making a difference and believe in the power of teamwork, we’d love for you to be part of this effort. Together, we can make Waverly an even better place for everyone. Reach out to learn more about the open committee positions and how you can get involved! 

Current committees include:

• Community Redevelopment Authority
• Planning Commission
• Board of Adjustments
• Park, Recreation, and Tree Advisory Committee

Time commitment varies. CRA meetings are held every 3^rd Monday of the month and require 30-90 minutes plus prep time for meetings. Planning Commission meetings are scheduled every 4^th Monday each month and may require approximately 90 minutes of your time plus prep time for meetings, depending on subject matter. Board of Adjustments meet once per year for appointments, then as needed to approve variance requests (very minimal). Parks Committee meets once a month, typically on the first Monday of the month, meetings lasting 30-90 minutes.
