This Halloween, the Waverly Community Chamber of Commerce and Waverly Parks & Recreation are teaming up to bring the community Waverly Spooktacular on Saturday, October 31.

The evening begins with safe trick-or-treating from 5–7 PM throughout the Waverly Plaza, VFW and Downtown areas, where Chamber members and local businesses will be handing out candy. Be sure to stop by Waverly Dental for free hot dogs, generously donated by Peace Lutheran Church.

New this year, Waverly Parks & Recreation is keeping the fun going after dark at Wayne Park with the Waverly Spooktacular Movie Experience from 8–10 PM. Enjoy s’mores around the fire pits and settle in for an outdoor showing of Hocus Pocus on the Wayne Park tennis courts. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and pillows.

There are also several other fall and Halloween events happening throughout Waverly during October:

Eek at the Creek – October 10, 3–5 PM
