City of Waverly Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, Request for Proposals
The City of Waverly, Nebraska has been awarded funding from the Federal Highway Administration for a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant in order to complete a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP).
Waverly Safe Streets For All RFP Document
The City has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) which seeks to engage a qualified consulting firm to assist in the creation of Waverly’s CSAP. The plan will lay the groundwork for future transportation projects, aimed at enhancing safety, reducing traffic-related fatalities and injuries, and improving the overall quality of life in Waverly while incorporating the four equity considerations identified by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). The successful consultant will demonstrate a deep understanding of Waverly’s unique transportation landscape and bring innovative solutions to the forefront of our community’s planning efforts.
Firms responding to this invitation should address, at a minimum, the following factors:
- Consultant and Key Personnel’s Qualifications & Experience (1 page per key personnel)
- Project Understanding & Approach. Consultant shall provide a detailed approach to undertaking the tasks proposed in the Scope of Services including a recommended methodology for each task. (up to 10 pages).
- Schedule & Availability The schedule should demonstrate how the Consultant intends to complete the work within the timeframe specified in this RFP. At a minimum, the schedule should include a breakdown by tasks, milestones, major deliverables, and critical events. (up to 2 pages)
- References (up to 3 pages)
- Cost Structure (up to 3 pages)
