The City of Waverly maintains a community brush pile for residents who live within the City limits. This brush pile is located 3/4 mile north of Waverly Road on N 148th Street. The tree brush pile is a locked facility and keys may be checked out from the City Office 14130 Lancashire Street Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Keys may be kept up to 48 hours and there is a $50 deposit (cash or check only), which will be returned with key return. We ask that you lock the gate when you are finished using the facility. Please note that if you lose your key, you are subject to a $50.00 replacement fee. The brush pile is burned off by the City's Public Works staff as necessary and is monitored by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.
For disposal of: tree limbs, shrubs, and branches.
The following items are strictly prohibited: grass clippings, large tree trunks, garbage, bags, concrete, furniture, and railroad ties. VIOLATORS MAY BE TICKETED AND FINED FOR LITTERING.
