DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)

DARE America provides officer training, supports the development and evaluation of the DARE curriculum, provides student educational materials, monitors instruction standards and program results, and creates national awareness for DARE. DARE uses specially trained police officers to educate students on drugs and other dangers and how to recognize and resist these dangers.

Neighborhood Watch

The Neighborhood Watch program strives to unify neighborhoods and create an environment in which members of the community are looking out for each other. Neighborhoods in which a watch program is in place are typically marked with a street sign. Knowing that a community has a watch program in place greatly helps to remove opportunities for criminals to commit crimes apposed to removing their behaviors or motivations.
